Hilda Monzon-Aguirre (Titi), our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished matriarch, entered eternal rest on December 6, 2025, at the age of 99. Born in 1926 in Cienfuegos, Cuba, Hilda a 76 year resident of Hialeah, lived a life marked by faith, resilience, and an unwavering devotion to her family. A woman of quiet strength and deep kindness, Hilda created a home filled with love, tradition, and gratitude. She was the anchor of her family—steadfast, encouraging, and rich in wisdom earned over nearly a century of life. Just weeks before her passing, Hilda joyfully celebrated her 99th birthday surrounded by family and friends—an occasion that beautifully reflected the legacy she leaves behind. Hilda is survived by her children: her son Victor and daughter-in-law Esther; her son Lewis; and her daughter Anna Maria Rodriguez del Rey and son-in-law Michael. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, her longtime caregiver and friend, Margarita Arango, and her extended family, who will forever honor her memory. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Monzon-Aguirre, a proud U.S. veteran, who now welcomes her home. Hilda’s life reminds us that true legacy is found in the lives we touch and the love we give. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. May she rest in peace. A service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, 6 PM- 10 PM at Bernardo Garcia Funeral Home, 8215 Bird Road, Miami, FL 33155. Burial on Tuesday, December 16,2025 11 AM at Vista Memorial Garden, 14200 NW 57th Ave, Miami Lakes, FL 33014. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness in her honor.
